Buyer is seeking proposals for a datacenter next generation firewall appliance and ongoing support eligible under the three-year Cyber Security Pilot program. The firewall will be used to segment the network towards a zero-trust implementation within the buyer's datacenter. The solution must integrate with the existing Palo Alto Networks Internet firewall and support high throughput with advanced security features. The contract will run from 2025 through 2028.

  • Provide Palo Alto Networks PA-5420 firewall or equivalent with redundant power supplies
  • Implement zero-trust framework with internal network segmentation and traffic aggregation
  • Configure Layer 7 application identification and control with granular security policies
  • Support 70.0 Gbps throughput with all subscriptions and logging enabled
  • Implement on-box SSL decryption capabilities
  • Configure policies based on users and groups in addition to IP addresses
  • Implement DNS protection to stop advanced DNS layer threats
  • Configure CIPA compliant URL filtering with customizable categories
  • Set up IoT device identification and discovery on the network
  • Integrate with existing QRadar SIEM solution
