Buyer is soliciting bids for Demolition of Improvements, Structures, or other Encumbrances in the Right Of Way and/or Easement Areas. The work consists of demolishing outdoor lighting, removing chain link fencing, and removing concrete light bases in Fulton County. Buyer requires all demolition debris to be properly disposed of according to Georgia regulations. The contractor must complete all work within 30 days of Notice to Proceed.

• 5/18/2025 - Questions due to GDOT
• 5/21/2025 - Proposal Due Date

• Prequalified in GDOT Right of Way Property Management service class E-3 Demolition

• Demolish and remove outdoor lighting fixtures and irrigation systems
• Remove approximately 5000 LF of green chain link fence
• Remove concrete light standard bases
• Submit EPA Project Notification Forms upon Notice of Award
• Install erosion control measures prior to land disturbing activities
• Dispose of debris in appropriate landfill or recycling facility
• Grade and slope site to provide positive drainage
• Apply temporary seeding and straw cover to stabilize area
• Procure 100% Performance and Payment Bond within 5 days
• Provide insurance coverage and certificates per specifications
• Complete all work within 30 days of Notice to Proceed
• Hire licensed electrical contractor for disconnecting electrical components
• Submit 811 information for dig permit and utility locates
• Prepare detailed demolition schedule meeting time requirements
• Fill and compact voids to 95% compaction
