County of Cumberland

Buyer is seeking proposals for providing out-of-school youth industry-focused occupational training internship program services. The services are for Salem County and Cape May County, administered through the Cumberland Salem Cape May Workforce Development Board. This program is supported by the New Jersey Department of Labor with funds from the United States Department of Labor through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Separate proposals must be submitted for Salem County and Cape May County programs.

• Develop industry-focused occupational training programs for out-of-school youth
• Provide work-based learning experiences and internship opportunities
• Implement career exploration and counseling services
• Establish employer partnerships for job placement
• Track participant outcomes and program performance metrics
• Create individualized service plans for participating youth
• Facilitate job readiness training and soft skills development
• Provide supportive services to overcome barriers to employment
• Conduct outreach and recruitment of eligible youth participants
• Develop curricula aligned with industry-recognized credentials
