Housing Authority of the City and County of Denver

Buyer seeks contractors to provide on-call concrete services at various housing authority locations within Denver. Services include demolition, installation, and finishing of concrete flatwork, drives, curbing, stairs, and ADA accessibility ramps. The contract will have a base year with two option years. Contractors must comply with HUD maintenance wage rates and follow Section 3 requirements for employment and contracting.

  • Must comply with HUD maintenance wage rates
  • Must secure all required permits prior to starting work
  • Must be able to accommodate various concrete installations including ADA accessibility ramps
  • Must verify all field measurements before quoting work
  • Must meet city, state and federal guidelines and codes
  • Demolish 4" and 6" thick concrete and asphalt surfaces
  • Form, pour and finish 4" thick flatwork at 4500PSI
  • Form, pour and finish 6" thick flatwork and driveway aprons
  • Install curbs, gutters, and step work
  • Provide and install rebar, wire mesh, and expansion materials
  • Perform saw-cutting of concrete surfaces
  • Apply curing compound and cold weather protection blankets
  • Haul out dirt and perform compaction of existing soil
  • Install wheel stops for parking areas
  • Install drainage sleeves and relocate irrigation heads
