Buyer seeks qualified design-build firms for constructing new multi-use sports fields in Abilene, Kansas. • Experience with similar projects comparable in design, scope, and complexity
• Ability to provide single point of contact for design and construction
• Must have quality assurance/quality control plan
• Must provide at least three owner references

• Design and construct 1 KSHSAA baseball field and 5 multi-use fields
• Evaluate artificial turf vs. grass field surface options
• Design and install field lighting and electrical systems
• Construct enclosed player dugouts with storage areas
• Install perimeter fencing, safety netting, and backstops
• Build restroom, concession, and storage facility building
• Install bullpens, batting cages, and scoreboards
• Ensure ADA compliance and meet building code regulations
• Design gravel parking lot meeting local requirements
• Develop comprehensive drainage systems for fields
