Buyer seeks a qualified contractor to renovate the Thoreau Chapter House Kitchen in Thoreau, New Mexico. The project includes roof repairs, wall and ceiling renovations, and installation of new kitchen equipment. Contractor must provide and install stainless steel counters, sinks, refrigerator/freezer unit, and related plumbing fixtures. The renovation must be completed within 365 days from the Notice to Proceed.

• 6/6/2025 - Deadline to Submit RFP Questions
• 6/13/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 6/16/2025 - Proposal Opening Evaluations
• 6/18/2025 - Final Selection and Notice of Award

• Valid State Contractor's license in New Mexico
• Ability to provide 10% bid security for proposals over $50,000
• Ability to provide 100% Performance and Payment Bonds
• Required insurance coverage including Commercial General Liability
• Compliance with Navajo Preference in Employment Law

• Repair roof moisture intrusion and replace damaged materials
• Remove and replace damaged sheetrock, insulation, and mold-affected areas
• Install FRP paneling behind three-compartment sink
• Provide and install new LED light fixtures and emergency lighting
• Install GFCI-type receptacles at all kitchen locations
• Provide and install stainless steel counters and tables
• Install new stainless steel three-compartment sink with plumbing
• Install hand sink with new supply and drain lines
• Provide and install refrigerator/freezer combo unit
• Install stainless steel overhead cabinets and required fixtures
