The buyer seeks renewable energy consultants to provide data, analysis, and expert advice on clean energy development and procurement. Consultants may work with the entire University system or individual universities. Services include advising on clean energy portfolios, large-scale renewable energy acquisitions, on-site renewable projects, and greenhouse gas mitigation strategies. The buyer aims to lead by example in meeting state clean energy goals.

• Documented experience in Renewable Energy Consulting industry for minimum of two years
• Complete and submit DOA-3832 Bidder Required Form
• Provide reference list and contact information from at least three locations

• Advise on clean energy portfolio development to meet sustainability goals
• Assist with large-scale renewable energy acquisition strategies
• Evaluate opportunities for renewable energy projects on UW campuses
• Develop RFIs or RFPs for renewable energy purchases or projects
• Review and provide expert advice on renewable energy procurement contracts
• Evaluate participation options for eligible utility programs
• Conduct financial analysis for renewable energy project business cases
• Assist with program development and market characterization
• Plan communications and events focused on energy equity and environmental justice
• Evaluate greenhouse gas mitigation strategies including carbon offsets
