PEP Telemedicine Line - On Call Clinical Service Program

Buyer seeks to establish a 24/7 PEP Telemedicine Line to provide immediate access to HIV post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) medications. The program aims to link PEP-eligible individuals to care, provide free starter packs, and increase awareness of biomedical prevention strategies. The contractor will manage a network of clinics and pharmacies to ensure timely PEP access across New York City. Services must be culturally competent and include Spanish language support.

- Currently provide clinical services in New York City
- Have Article 28 license from New York State Department of Health
- Experience providing PEP for non-occupational exposures through telemedicine
- Experience collaborating with organizations through Linkage Agreements/MOUs/MOAs
- Experience providing medication through virtual patient-provider-pharmacy arrangement
- Establish and maintain 24-hour PEP Telemedicine Line
- Provide immediate access to initial emergency PEP medications free of charge
- Rapidly link PEP-eligible individuals to PEP providers
- Conduct PEP eligibility assessments and prescribe emergency PEP medications
- Create network of Linkage Agreements with NYC clinics experienced in PEP
- Establish business agreements with 24-hour pharmacies for PEP starter packs
- Develop social media and outreach plan to promote PEP Telemedicine Line
- Ensure secure storage of client information compliant with privacy regulations
- Report client and service data in eSHARE system
- Provide services in culturally competent manner, including Spanish language
